365 coming to an end

I have decided since I can't keep up with my 365 photos that I am going to quite this little adventure. Lately I have had other things to worry about and I just don't have time to take pics and post every day. So I hope you enjoyed the ones that I did post and check back for some holiday pics to come. ~Cathy

This is D and Cousin D on Thanksgiving day. Now you have to remember that Cousin D doesn't have a mom that follows her kids around with a camera every waking moment. So as D is yelling put the camera away Cousin D takes the opportunity to show his photogenic side...or not. He has no problem posing while D on the other hand puts his hood up and then says to him.."ya know this will end up on her blog?" Cousin D says: "Man, I don't care." I only wish D felt that way. I really don't chase them around with the camera but I do seem to have it out alot and it may be rubbing off just a bit.. tune in tomorrow for D's pictures from behind the camera.

I knew that I would be at work on Saturday and Sunday and G would have a handful of girls from the birthday party sleepover so I bought this pack of foam cards with letters and cut out stickers. They played with it Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. It was a big hit with all the kids from age 4 to 14. It was like $4.84 at Wal-mart, easiest, cheapest thing I have bought in a long time.

This was the snow we got on Saturday. Nothing big just enough for the idiots that can't drive in the first place to go out and act like fools.

Emma loves the snow.. She goes out and plays and gets her little feet and nose covered and she is the cutest little thang..no rain is another story. ~Cathy

A guy at work received this lovely Charlie Brown Christmas tree from his wife. Someone left this box laying around at work and I made a ring out of a paper clip and inserted it in the box.

I was folding laundry and Emma was helping..she really was...atleast she was lying still and not running through my stacks of nicely folded laundry the way my mom taught me. I used to get so mad at her (my mom) cause she wanted them folded a certain way and I thought W-H-Y??? Now I completely understand and I am so sorry that I ever questioned her. Anywho.. Emma found that dad's warm shirt was very nice to nap on and I just kept putting things on her and she stayed there til I picked them up and then yelled "get your stinking dog butt off daddy's shirt" She didn't understand. You can see this day she was sporting her Green dress with pink princess crowns. She doesn't like this one as much as the leopard spotted one but who cares, she a dog right...WRONG..she is my baby gurl.

Apparently I take too many damn pictures of my dog. I really have as many or more of the kids but I don't put them on here cause all of the perverts. ~Cathy

The day this picture was taken, Dec 5th was Grandma L's 95th birthday.

Remember Grandma L, she is the one that told Cousin D at Thanksgiving that she "parked" with his grandpa some 50 years ago.

I bought this bag for all the birthday gifts and as soon as it hit the floor Miss Emma Sue claimed it. They would kick her off and she would lay back down, they would kick her off again and she would lay back down. We had never seen her do anything like this. She was claiming this bag. We think she liked the color.I put her in the bag and she stayed there for quite awhile. Then she realized it didn't match her dress and hasn't touch it since. ~Cathy

This is our main tree. We have 3 others going in the house. One in a bedroom, one in the basement and D's in the Diningroom. We went pretty plain on this one just balls and candy canes. It's very peaceful this year.

D made his tree topper and then received this pin in the mail for ordering of course, dirt bike parts. I couldn't talk him into letting me put my country grapevine star on top..oh, he hates that thing. Our Christmas tree..this is kind of what my head felt like after all of the decorating.

While putting the tree up I saw these 3 little girls running around our yard. At first I thought it was a very big dog and then I saw the others.

Since I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off I enlisted D to take some pics for 365 photos. I was running him last night to his girlfriend's house and here is how our conversation went:



Me: "Get in front and here take baby." (he always rides in the back unless I make him..just kiddin. He just prefers the back)

D: "What? Why?"

Me: "Cause I need some pics for my daily 365 and I need you to take some." Then I turned it on, set the setting and reminded him how to focus.. he really does not care for baby or how she works or what she does. I think he's jealous.

D: "What am I supposed to take pictures of?"

Me: "Anything!! There get that sunset, no take more, don't get the mirror in the way, there take it there, okay there.."

All for the sake of my viewers that haven't even noticed that I don't keep up with my 365 nor do they or you care.

Then I chased Emma around trying to get her diaper to stay on.. yeah, G is so happy another female in the house with monthlies..yeah for him

First snow..it spit some flakes yesterday but tongiht it was covering the ground a bit. I grabbed baby and jumped out the front door. I always get excited about snow. I will get some better pics later.
