Go ahead and say it......
Okay.. go ahead and say it.. I'm a picky bitch. My new "cleaning" crew came yesterday for the second time. If you remember my first gal didn't do so well so I went with the professional, bonded company that was recommened By a friend. hmmmm.... The first "A" clean was extra detail on the bathroom and kitchen. Well okay.. I lived with it. Yesterday the "B" clean was to include sleeping and living areas... a bigger hmmmmm? Yesterday 3 gals came and it only took them 1 1/2 hours. I was kind of shocked but was my house clean? Yes! Was it cleaned like I want or the way they advertise?...NO!!!!! Then on top of that they locked their keys in their trunk in my drive and was here an extra 3 1/2 hours digging through the arm rest hatch trying to find them.. Anyways. Now just look down this list and tell me am I being a picky bitch or what... See the line that says extra attention on floors. Well I have proof.. Even G asked if they swept.
This is the corner of the bedroom, which I asked for the trees to be dusted.. Apparently they weren't and the moss wasn't cleaned up from either..
These are the steps and really all the floores have carpet fuzz on them. I have heard the girls both times complain how she hates to sweep stairs.. Sorry, it's your job.. right?
This is called "floors, special attention" They didn't move my basket of blankets or lamps or nothing..and this was the "B" clean (living and bedrooms) Also if they didn't get back here then I would say they didn't wipe the baseboards either..
This is my kitchen table. They didn't shake the salt and pepper off, they just wiped around it..
And this is the kicker.. I wouldn't expect them to clean under the cushions and it looks likes I don't either but I don't brag that I do.. As I was reading through making my list I saw this so I went to check it out. Yeah.... I don't think they got this.. Whatcha think?
And it's not even in the fine print..
There are other things too. Maybe I'm just too picky, maybe I should not blog and get up and do it myself. Ya know I work, I can't forget to send a fire truck to a structure fire. I can't take money for bond and FORGET to send it to court.. oooopppps..sorry. I don't know. If your going to say you do it..especially in writing then DO IT!!!!!

UFO's, DOG FOOD AND GENERATORS = HOME
Now take into consideration the curve ahead and cut me some slack on the pictures. It's very hard to drive the land yacht, turn and take pictures of two big silver UFO's in a yard. Now I know I wouldn't have been the first idiot to stop and take pictures but after 30 some years it probably gets old to the owners. But I didn't have the nerve to stop so just go with these.

Then I come to this....corn field after corn field. Yes, I have corn fields around where I live but it seems to get a bit more flat up here and more fields. In my parents neighboring town/village they used to have a billboard with the big orange triangle symbol explaining the slow moving vehicle thang. Oh, yes they did. Right next to the only bank in town billboard. Now where I live there are a thousand banks, 2 and 3 branches of the same bank.
So here are a few pics of pretty fields.
Now we are entering the big burg where I grew up. The only reason I show this pic is because to the left which you can't see is the Iams dog food plant. Our town always smells of dog food, french fries or marijuana depending on what additive they are mixing that day. Oh, yummo... marijuana dog food. Now ya know why they eat the crap. Cause it makes them HaaaPPYYYy!!!!
This is coming into the big downtown. One flashing red light, yep, that's it.

And look--- generators--- since they were out of power for over a week in spots during Hurricane Ike..yes, this still kills me that Ohio got a hurricane. I wanted to get a shirt that said "I survived Hurricane Ike in Ohio"
Anyways, it was nice to be home and I thought I took a picture of the homestead but I think I was so excited to get out of the car I forgot. Which is more important than showing you all where I grew up. It was nice to be back and I will have to go back again soon and hang with my parents and do absolutley nothing but everything all at the same time. I have tons more pictures but they are for me to look at. I'm lucky I didn't wreck driving into town. I know anyone that saw me probably thought I was crazy for snapping pictures of every land mark in town but WhatEver... Thanks for going home with me and I'm sure there will be more in the future. I really do love this place.Sunday, January 27, 2008
Our downstairs outhouse

Emma's baby tooth. I saw it flip out and I grabbed it and taped it to the mirror and now I don't know what to do with it so it stays there.
Reading material for the more educated visitor.
The corner of the wall..well duh right.

This is our beach towel collection, a potty ring for the little folks that come over and Emma's hair dryer. And I didn't have to organize this cabinet before I took the picture. You can tell it's not swimming season yet.
This pictures coloring of off but it's a bathroom, seen one seen them all..right? Notice the wet wipes for the male monster.
