My Sunday

Sunday night I did something I never do... I hung out in the man cave with G and I actually played Halo on Xbox live... I was begging for mercy from the other teams not to shoot me...I was a beginner. Then I grabbed the camera and took some pics.. Can anyone tell me why this is highlighted?

I think it's time for a pedicure. I was trying to get my reflection in the door but it didn't work. See the green shirt?

It's always better when someone else makes the drinks.

That was my Sunday night... I am tired and ready for bed. That Halo is intense....

Gone Fishin'

We ran to the lake today to do a little fishing and that's exactly what it was..a little. The storm moved in about 1 hours after we got there so we packed up and came home. Emma was on the dock with us but she was getting in the way and I just knew she would get hooked so I moved her. She sat on the ramp and waited. Then one of the monsters caught this guy and he had a lot to say...go tell Emma.She was so excited but he swam off and she was not a happy camper. So her next move was to pretend she was a Navy Seal and swim out to us. I can't believe she got in by herself and went to town. She loved it..then....... Look at those big eyes.

She got out a little to far and started sputtering.. We saved her but she kept trying it.

She was fine down there with he burrs stuck to her belly and feet but the minute she got home she tucked her tail and knew something wasn't right. So I cut the burrs out and she got a warm bath.. She is a pretty girl again. Ya just got to let your hair down and get dirty once in awhile.
She loved it. I still can't believe she jumped in by herself...She is no longer my baby girl.

Talent Show

Friday night the monster #3 was invited to a friends house for a talent /dog fashion show. She wanted to take Emma by herself, she said she would hold her and nothing would hurt her. I wasn't about to let my baby girl to a strangers house with a 10 year old in charge. We decided that we would go, just hang around or set in the car in case something happened. She was upset that we didn't trust her and stated that

NO OtHer pArEnts WoULd bE ThERe and she would look so stupid. So we get there and all kinds of parents were taking their seats. We ended up grabbing seats and had a really good time. The group has been planning this for 2 months, they made posters and fliers for the whole neighborhood. They had all kinds of talents- one stood on his hands, one girls danced, one showed his drawings, other did magic. They had a lot of fun.

Here Emma is getting ready for her debut fashion show. She is thrilled beyond words.

After the talent part the kids danced to Y-M-C-A and Celebration and rolled around the yard a few times.
Emma didn't do to well, she was not sure what to do but she won a bone anyways.
Then came the social bug Chorkie. She looked like a blonde Emma with a long tail and then once they told us what mix she was you could see the Chihauhau shake. She was a zinger..

If was fun and I told G that I wish our kids would do something like that..then we just laughed., No Way.

Happy Birthday Emma Sue

Today is Miss Emma Sue's 2nd birthday. She is such a big girl, a whole 7 lbs. She is such a sweet little thing. More birthday pictures in her new birthday dress coming as soon as I do some house work. Shhh..no one knows I'm in the den on the computer. Laundry is piling up, dishes need loaded, a major 10 minute tidy needs to be done but I am celebrating my baby girl at the moment. Cat / Dog love.

Baxter can't stand that she doesn't bathe herself so he does it for her. Until she bites his bummmmmm then he's done.

Looking for the cache

January 2nd G and I took the one monster and went geocaching for a bit. We also took Miss Emma with us. She rides on my upper back and her head on my shoulder. She does make a comfy neck pillow. We stopped in Lebanon at the Veteran Monument to look for the cache.

This little park is kind of in the middle of downtown but it's so peaceful.

G looked and looked but we never found the cache. Actually we never found any that day. Shucks.

We actually complained that day that it was too cold to be outside..I would take that day back in a heartbeat.. A friend asked me the other day if I had been out geocaching...I wonder has she been outside lately. I didn't even know what to say..UMMMMM NO!!!!

Random New Year's Eve

Emma in her new party dress. I didn't even get make up on. G was having a real good time playing pictionary.Baxter the inspector was watching from under the tree.

I caught G dancing a bit or was he stuck in his Wii pose.

He had a really good time tonight.

I caught some of the count down.
My phone reading 2400 hours..Happy New Year to all. Yes it says..G Money.. the guys at work call me that and the kids changed my screen.

Year in Pictures- August 2008

Well in July we had one big birthday party for the two oldest monsters. We had 24 (2 are missing) teenagers over for swimming, food and a bon fire. I have to say this was easier than 5 feuding 10 years olds. This is D and his BFF.. See the poison ivy on his face from making the rope swing. Well, that's not the only place he had it...but I didn't see that...wink wink
